DIY Earring Workshop

Tuesday, May 7, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Making earrings is a great way to learn the basics of jewellery making. The techniques you will learn in this class can be applied to other jewellery projects, including bracelet and necklace making.

These earrings will make a great gift idea for Mother’s Day or something beautiful to take home for yourself!

What you will learn:

  • How to work with beads and semi-precious stones
  • How to use jewellery findings to connect beads
  • How to work with jewellery making tools

What you will make:
Two pairs of semi-precious stone earrings, as shown in the photo. Some of the stones you’ll be working with include Amethyst and Imperial Jasper. Jasper is a stone associated with spiritual and healing properties that may help one relax, get organized, and reach tranquility. Amethyst is also known for its healing properties, and is thought to assist with physical and emotional wellbeing.

What you will need:
You won’t need to bring anything with you. All supplies to make the two sets of earrings are included in the registration cost, and jewellery making tools will be provided for use during the workshop. Good manual dexterity to work with fine objects is an asset

BONUS! — You’ll also receive a step-by-step guide to making these pieces, which means you can do it on your own for future occasions or personal enjoyment.
